Design your timber frame. Know what to buy. Share it in 3D.
FrameVerk is a CAD-grade timber-frame design app. Design the actual structure in 2D and 3D, then get the timber list, cut plan, estimated cost and a live view-only link from the same project.
General-purpose CAD takes setup and stops at drawings. FrameVerk uses purpose-built timber-frame controls and keeps the design, 3D view, timber list, cuts, estimated cost and share link together.
With general-purpose CAD
The work gets split across files.
Draw the same parts again in different tools
Copy sizes, cuts and prices into separate spreadsheets
Send new screenshots every time the design changes
FrameVerk
Everything stays together.
Design the actual structure in 2D and 3D with purpose-built controls—no general-purpose CAD setup or training
Get the timber list, cut list and estimated cost
Share a view-only 3D link with live updates
How FrameVerk works
Four simple steps, one project.
Design the frame, add the roof, check the timber and cost, then share the latest version—without switching between apps.
01
Design the frame
Start with the building shape, then add the main timber parts.
Walls, doors and windows, floors, posts and beams
Switch between the floor plan and 3D view anytime
02
Add the roof
Choose the roof shape and main measurements. FrameVerk lays out the pieces.
Set the slope, direction, spacing and overhang
See the roof structure in 3D before moving on
03
See what timber you need
Get a clear list of pieces, sizes and cuts, then add your timber prices.
Quantities, sizes, lengths and required cuts
Choose the timber lengths you buy and allow for saw cuts and waste
See how much timber to buy and the estimated cost
04
Share or print
Let someone review the latest 3D project or take the timber list with you.
Send a view-only 3D link—no account needed
Your saved changes update the link; turn it off anytime
Download a spreadsheet or print the cut list as a PDF
Also included: metric and imperial units, online saves, project copies and earlier versions. Sun Study shows sunlight and shadows for the date and time you choose.
Inside FrameVerk
Plan, study, and share one live model.
Study direct sunlight over time
Compare dates and times, view the exposure heatmap, and review direct solar access before construction.
Plan the structure in 2D
Inspect the floor framing, exact dimensions, and live Lumber Summary in one workspace.
Share a live, view-only model
Send one 3D link. Saved changes update the same link, and viewers do not need an account.
Design the frame, review the roof and prepare the timber information without rebuilding the same job in several tools.
Small teams and designers
Keep design choices, measurements, timber and costs in one project as the design changes.
Serious owner-builders
See the building in 2D and 3D, understand the timber needed and make better-informed choices before work starts.
